About the Symposium

The American University of the Middle East is organizing AUM Global Symposium 2025: ”The Future of Entrepreneurship in the AI era”, in partnership with Babson College, on February 12 and 13, 2025 at the Cultural Center.

This immersive 2 will serve as a link between experts and practitioners interested in entrepreneurship and in advancing as leaders in their careers. These two days aims to develop a cadre of distinguished experts in the field of entrepreneurship to inspire and empower the new generation of students in this field.

Program Goals and Objectives

The program is experiential and action-oriented that provides current insights and perspectives on entrepreneurship education such as to:

Integrate the complementary logics underlying Entrepreneurial Thought & Action®.

Experience a variety of pedagogies that can help student practice entrepreneurship

Co-create innovative ways of teaching entrepreneurship

Reflect on personal teaching philosophies and styles in order to develop a pedagogy portfolio

Build a personal resource base of like-minded educators dedicated to innovation in entrepreneurship education

Learn how to engage an entrepreneurial generation of students who want to change the world.

Into the core principles of Entrepreneurial Thought & Action (ETA), a powerful framework for driving entrepreneurial success.

Key concepts such as opportunity-obsession, action, experimentation, and the role of Design Thinking in need-finding.

The transformative potential of AI in supporting entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey.

Learn

How to leverage AI for customer insights, idea generation, concept development, and prototyping through engaging experiential activities and discussions.

Explore

Advanced applications of AI in generating industry foresight and aligning teams and organizations.

In hands-on activities and discussions to theme opportunities and implications of AI in entrepreneurship.

This Global Symposium is delivered by world-renowned Babson faculty expert who bring real-world experience, leading research, and award-winning teaching to the program.

Registration: Interested Mid-career to senior level employees, leaders, entrepreneurs from the region and worldwide are highly encouraged to participate and pre-register by February 7, 2025.
